I ALWAYS SAY THIS WORLD IS TOO SMALL FOR US (THE NATURALISTS).

I was home writing when a neighbour writes and says "there's a young man with a long lens looking at the trees." That's a little weird behavior anywhere so I decided to go out and see who it was. And to my surprise it was a young man from Luxembourg! He's visiting Peru and is passing through Lima with a itinerary to check out some of nature's most beautiful places, in Mother of God and Cusco. He was in my neighborhood because he saw the bird records that I have accumulated for years. My neighborhood is currently one of the sites with the most Lima species on iNaturalist.

We had a pleasant conversation and what a joy to know that the photos shared on iNaturalist are really of use and value to others, even people from other parts of the planet. Bon voyage Claude and enjoy the best of Peru!
